Shahryar Oveissi is an investor and entrepreneur with expertise spanning biotech, sustainability, carbon markets, and agriculture. He co-founded Argali Carbon Corporation, serving as Chief Carbon Officer, and managed the Argali Climate Fund, a carbon offset investment platform. Previously, he was a Director at Diomics Corporation, a biotech firm focused on stem cell-based therapies, and a Partner at Rose Capital, a leading agriculture fund. Earlier, he spent eight years as an Operating Partner at Pegasus Capital Advisors, a $2 billion AUM private equity firm. Shahryar serves on the boards of Argali Carbon Corporation and BioSource Feeds, and has held board positions with Six Senses Hotels Resorts & Spas, ZeroBase Energy, and Todd English Enterprises. Shahryar is also an advisor to GATC Health a leading Life Sciences company focused on drug discovery and validation using their proprietary AI Platform. He earned a B.S. in Information Systems and International Business from NYU Stern School of Business.
